Mrs. Mildred "Milly" Siebe

Mildred E. Siebe "Milly", Lynnville, Indiana, passed away Monday, January 29th, 2018. She was 94 years young. Milly was preceded in death by her parents, William McKinley and Mary Lee Taylor; husband, Amel Siebe; brothers, Chester and Pete Taylor.
Milly was born June 20, 1923, in Casey County in Eastern, KY. She moved to Boonville, IN at the age of ten years. Milly was a graduate of Boonville High School. She owned and operated Siebe's Flower & Gift shop for many years in Lynnville. She loved flowers and had quite the green thumb. Milly assembled aircraft in Evansville, IN during WW II. She had many stories to share about that period in her life. Living through the Great Depression, as a child, and the years around WW II were experiences she never forgot. Milly was a member of North Friendship G.B. Church and taught Sunday school class for many years. She enjoyed sewing of all kinds. Milly lived at home right up to her passing and was a very independent lady.
Milly is survived by three sons, Bruce (Carol) Siebe of Newburgh, IN, Alan Brent (Lori) Siebe of Lynnville, IN, and B.J.(Jammie) Siebe of Lynnville, IN; nine grandchildren, (Bruce) Angela Siebe of Houston, TX, Tiffany (John) Simpson of Canton GA, Brice Siebe of Austin, MN, (Brent) Heath (Cassie) of Folsomville, IN, Matt of Nashville, TN, and Danny Siebe of Reed, KY, (B.J.) Bret (Debbie) of Whiteland, IN, Jordan of Elberfeld, IN, and Brady Siebe of Fishers, IN; thirteen great-grandchildren, Spencer Siebe (Angela), Marley Krepps, Remington and Portia Simpson (Tiffany), Alaina Siebe (Brice), Alan and Emma Siebe (Heath), Sydney Siebe (Danny), Brandon and Mason Siebe (Bret), Gracelyn and Aiden Siebe (Jordan), Mhya Siebe (Brady) and three step-great-grandchildren, (Danny) Hannah and Maci Farley, (Matt) Cassidy Verville.
Funeral Service 11 a.m. Friday, February 2, 2018 at North Friendship General Baptist Church, 2244 IN-68, Lynnville, IN, 47619. Visitation from 1 – 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 1st at Pemberton-Bradley Funeral Home, 301 N. Main St. Lynnville and 1 hr. before service time at Church. Interment Lynnville Cemetery.
