Marilyn Jeanne (Clutter) Huett, 91, passed away April 26, 2018 at The Heritage Center in Evansville. Born August 1, 1926 to Robert and Ada (Pittman) Clutter. Marilyn lived most of her life in Boonville. She was a graduate of Boonville High School ('44) and was employed at Embassy Men's Apparel and later at Peoples Trust and Savings Bank as a teller.
Marilyn married Robert Huett on March 15, 1947. She became an active member of the Main St. G. Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School, was a missionary circle leader and sang in the choir. She was also a long time member of the Happy Homemakers Home Ec Club. She and Bob were avid UE basketball fans and members of the Tip-Off Club.
Marilyn is survived by son, Terry Huett; granddaughters, Nicole (Kris) Brown and Allyson Huett; great-granddaughters, Anna and Camryn Brown; daughter-in-law, Deanna Huett-Alexander; sister, Marcia Kitchens; brother, Daniel Clutter; sister-in-law, Sandy Clutter; a special niece Kay Eaton, numerous nieces and nephews.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Robert R. Huett; son, Mark Huett; sister, Iris Griffin and brothers, Richard, Roderick and David Clutter.
The family would like to give special thanks for Mother's care to the Hearthside unit at the Heritage Center and to Heritage Hospice.
Funeral Service will be 1: 00 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2018 at BRADLEY'S COLONIAL CHAPEL, 1005 E. Main St. in Boonville. Visitation from 10 a.m. until service time. Interment Maple Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Main St. G. Baptist Church in Boonville or Heritage Hospice. Condolences to the family can be sent to www.bradleyscc.com
