James Max McKinney, 71 of Lynnville, IN, passed away on March 17, 2018 at home surrounded by all he loved dearly. Born Dec. 28, 1946 to Shirl & Jean (Leslie) McKinney who preceded him in death.
Jim had worked at Emge Packing Co. in Fort Branch for 28 years & at Best Chairs in Ferdinand. He loved his grandsons dearly and enjoyed going to their ballgames. He enjoyed camping, boating & NASCAR races. He served on Lynnville Town Board 3 different terms also the Hart Township Advisory Board and was Democratic Precinct Committeeman. He was a member of St. Clement Church in Boonville for 48 years.
Jim is survived by his devoted wife of 48 years, Diane; daughter, Amy Jo (Jeff) Titzer; son, Neil (Stephanie) McKinney; grandsons, Jacob & Ethan Titzer, Dylan, Samuel & Hunter McKinney; mother-in-law, Anna Drone; sister, Shirlene (Bob) Buse & brother, Ronnie McKinney as well as nieces, nephews, cousins & his little buddy Barney.
Special Thank You to Heart to Heart Hospice, especially Melody, Melissa, Julie, Jennifer & Brittany. Also to Betty Jean Gresham, Wendy Shelton & Diane's sisters, Donna Fischer, Brenda Rogers, Mary Dimmett, all of them that helped to give special love & care to Jim.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday, March 22, 2018 at St. Clement Catholic Church, Boonville. Visitation 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday with a Rosary Service at 7:30 p.m. at Pemberton-Bradley Funeral Home, 301 N. Main St. Lynnville, IN & 1 hr. visitation before mass at Church. Interment Lynnville Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to Heart to Heart Hospice or St. Clement Building Fund. Condolences to the family may be sent to www.bradleyscc.com
