George Elzer, 69, passed away on November 23, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by his parents, George II & Ruby Elzer; son, Jonathan Elzer & brother, John Elzer.
George is survived by his wife of 14 years, Becky Elzer ; children, Matthew (Cindy) Elzer, Andrea (Roger) Bailey & Sarah Elzer; grandchildren, Kyle & Katelyn Elzer, Breanna Bailey, Austin Mofield & brother, Paul Elzer.
George was mischievious, funny, a storyteller, animal advocate, trusted farrier, friend to human and equine alike. As some horseman have claimed he was a legend, a master in his craft.
Funeral Service 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Bradley's Colonial Chapel, 1005 E. Main St. Boonville, IN. Visitation 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday and 1 hr. before service time. Interment Maple Grove Cemetery. Condolences to the family may be sent to www.bradleyscc.com
